Axon supports full-screen, vertical (portrait), video ads that maximize impact in mobile environments.

Video best practices

The video component of Axon ads is unskippable for up to 60 seconds. Axon encourages advertisers to upload a range of video lengths, ideally with a good selection of longer videos (30 seconds or more).

• Diversify your creatives to test different styles and messaging.
• UGC-style videos often perform well but can be complemented with other approaches.
• Include captions to ensure clarity when sound is off.

Video file requirements:

• Supported file types: MP4, MOV, M4V
• Dimensions: 9:16 (Portrait)
• Maximum file size: 1 GB
• Minimum dimensions: 270×480
• Maximum duration: 60 seconds

Axon Interactive Page (AIP)

An AppLovin Interactive Page (AIP) is the interactive screen that shows after a video ad finishes. It drives action with clear calls to action, product showcases, or branded visuals. You can create interactive pages in two ways:

1. From a portrait image, which you upload directly (click Upload in the Images tab of the Media library).
2. From an HTML file, which you can produce with Axon’s Creative Studio (click Create in the HTMLs tab of the Media library).

Both options let you reinforce your message and guide users to take action and visit your site.

Portrait image requirements:

• Supported file types: GIF, JPEG, PNG
• Maximum file size: 10 MB
• Maximum GIF duration: 60 s
• Minimum dimensions: 270×480

Axon by AppLovin reprocesses all videos into a standard format to optimize them for playback on mobile devices. This may change the file size while maintaining the quality of the original video.
