I see clicks or impressions. Why don’t I see revenue?

Many of AppLovin’s advertisers pay on a CPI (cost per install) basis. This means AppLovin and you (the publisher) get paid only when a click produces an install.

When you have shown only a few impressions, it may be that a payable interaction has not yet occurred. After more impressions and clicks are delivered, more interaction with the ads occurs, which generates revenue.

Sometimes this takes a few days. It depends on the number of clicks you have and on the tracking platforms AppLovin’s advertisers use to report installs to AppLovin.

After enough traffic is served, the AppLovin ad serving algorithm learns which campaigns work best on your placement. Then you should expect your eCPM to improve.
