Third-party product feed integrations

Axon by AppLovin integrates the following product catalog feed platforms (listed in alphabetical order). If you work with any of them, refer to the guidance below:

• DataFeedWatch
• Feedonomics
• Feedoptimise
• Genus AI
• GoDataFeed
• Marpipe

If you use a feed provider that is not listed above and you need help, contact Axon support.

The salePrice field is optional. Leave it empty unless the item is on sale at a price lower than the regular price. If you include salePrice, both salePriceStartDate and salePriceEndDate are mandatory.

DataFeedWatch

To add the Axon channel in your DataFeedWatch store, follow these steps:

1. Review the “Adding a Channel” article: Start by reading the official guide.
2. Connect your store: Follow the instructions in that article to link your ecommerce store to DataFeedWatch.
3. Select the Axon template: After your store is live, open the Channels menu and choose the Axon channel template.
4. Explore additional resources: For information about every major action—such as importing feeds, mapping attributes, scheduling updates—see the full DataFeedWatch Help Center.

Before you publish your feed, make sure all fields are free of unwanted characters (commas, newlines, and carriage returns). DataFeedWatch provides tools to clean or replace these characters:

• Navigate to Edit Values & Types in your feed rules.
• Use the Remove Single Value or Replace Values options to strip out commas (,), line breaks (\n), and carriage returns (\r).

Contact DataFeedWatch’s customer support to configure Axon as a custom channel for your feed if you need additional help.

Feedonomics

Feedonomics is a fully managed service product that allows merchants to send product data to many channels, synchronize it across systems, and optimize it for more sales with their feed management software.

For current Feedonomics customers, contact your dedicated customer support team to help you create a catalog feed tailored for Axon dynamic catalog.

If you are a current Feedonomics client, submit your request directly to FeedSupport™ and a member of their team will respond in three hours (standard) or one hour (urgent). If you do not have direct access to FeedSupport™, email portal@feedonomics.com or call +1 (844) 673‒7305.

Feedonomics feed manager helps you create the feed for Axon requirements.

Feedoptimise

In the Feedoptimise platform, add an Axon feed with the following steps:

1. Add a new feed: Click the + button in the feeds section.
2. Configure basic details: Provide a feed name and select the source of your data.
3. Choose the template: Select the Axon feed template.
4. Review mappings: Review the attribute mappings and optimise them if needed.
5. Handle categories: Map the Google Category ID manually, or use AI to map it automatically if you don’t know the ID.
6. Generate and share the URL: Create the feed URL and provide it to Axon.

Genus AI

Option 1: Let Genus AI help

Contact Genus AI’s support team at success@genus.ai. They help you create a customized feed tailored specifically for Axon.

Option 2: Self-serve feed setup instructions

To create your own Axon-compatible feed:

1. Go to the Feeds Page in your Genus AI dashboard.
2. Click Build New Creative Feed.
3. Under Feed Channel, select “Axon” as the output channel.
4. Add your AI-powered smart templates and generate the feed.
5. Click Use in Axon and select Set up with Feed URL.
6. Update the Feed URL on Axon Ads Manager (more guidance is available here).

After you connect your feed, your future updates to it automatically sync with Axon, including catalog changes, product availability, pricing, and creative designs.

GoDataFeed

If you use GoDataFeed to manage your product catalog, establish a feed for Axon by following the steps below (details available at the GoDataFeed documentation).

1. Navigate to the top menu bar and click Feeds to show the Feeds menu. To add a new feed, click the blue + ADD FEED button
2. Click BROWSE CHANNELS
3. Click the search field, type “Axon”, and click the search icon. After the results update, click Select to add the feed template to your account.
4. You are then prompted for any changes to your account.
5. When you finish the account setting, begin the mapping process or compiling for the feed.
6. After you add the feed template, the feed may automatically trigger and begin updating. To begin mapping, click Mapping to navigate to the mapping section of the feed.

Follow the remaining steps described in the GoDataFeed documentation to finish mapping your feed.

Marpipe

To establish a catalog feed on Marpipe:

1. Navigate to the output feed page.
2. Click New Output Feed.
3. Choose single treatment feed.
4. Click advanced options and change the format to Axon.
5. Click create, then add designs to your feed and publish.

Update the Feed URL in the Axon Ads Manager by following the instructions here.

Make sure no field in your catalog contains commas (,), newlines (\n), or carriage returns (\r). Such characters cause processing issues.
